Farm On The Hill

Before exam season dawns upon us a much needed break from reality was needed. This half term we headed to Farm On The Hill in Uttoxeter. When we first heard about this little farm, we were intruiged. A tiny campsite with six pitches each hidden in a maze of trees divided by small footpaths surrounded by nothing but nature and countryside. The forest was full of life: beautiful butterflies fluttered and cute rabbits darted across the fields.
Luckily for us the sun decided to shine non-stop which made the whole experience a hundred times more amazing!
Farm On the Hill is a completely unique experience where you become totally at one with nature. It is an eco-campsite as it  has a sauna and a shower which are solar powered and even a compost loo (with a great view)! During the afternoon we walked to the local pub and then during the evening we sat around the campfire and toasted marshmallows!
